Banjo-Pilot is the fourth game coming from the Banjo Kazooie series. Banjo-Pilot was released on January 10, 2005 in North America by the game developer, Rare, and publisher, THQ. Banjo-Pilot is not like the other Banjo Kazooie games. Banjo Pilot revolves around a racing type theme rather than adventure in the previous Banjo-Kazooie video games. Banjo-Pilot is a racing game involving planes racing against other Banjo-Kazooie characters. The game offers a large variety of characters to play, different modes in the game, as well, many long tracks and different difficulties. Banjo-Pilot is compared similar to Diddy Kong Racing/DS.

[edit] Controls

Control Pad: Steers the plane.
A Button: Makes the plane accelerate.
B Button: Fires standard bullet without power-up. Uses power-up if you have one.
Pressing Control Pad with either L Button or R Button: Does different types of stunt rolls.

[edit] Stop 'N' Swop

One of the features of the game is being able to buy different things like racers and tracks from Cheato and the player can also buy a secret item called "Stop 'N' Swop". When he/she buys it, Bottles, breaking the fourth wall, says "Go put down this game and read a nice book or something".

[edit] Trivia

  • This game was officially going to be Diddy Kong Pilot, but got changed as Rare moved away from Nintendo and to Microsoft and no longer gained the rights to the Donkey Kong characters, forcing them to change the characters to the Banjo-Kazooie ones.
