Nintendo is a company which publishes and develops many different games. A few of these games that are published / developed by Nintendo can be found in the Banjo Kazooie series.

History

When Nintendo released the Nintendo 64, Rare (then RareWare) was a second party developer for Nintendo. Rare released many games for Nintendo and they became one of Nintendo's greatest second party developers.

In 2001 the Stamper brothers left Rare and sold their 51% stake with Rare. Seeing how Microsoft was keen on buying Rare, Nintendo sold their 49% stake with Rare and Microsoft bought Rare for $399 million.
