Microsoft is a large gaming publisher and developer globally.

Summary

Microsoft are the publishers of the hit game Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. In 2004, the Stamper brothers sold their 51% claim of Rare and Nintendo sold their 49% claim with Rare and in the mean time Microsoft bought Rare. Rare at the moment can only publish for Microsoft's X-Box 360 and any hand held that Rare chooses (seeing as Microsoft doesn't have a hand held console).
