Honeycombs are a source of health in all of the Banjo Kazooie games. Honey Combs can be found laying randomly on the ground, hidden inside enemies, or found in special locations. It is essential to keep your Honeycomb Meter as high as you can to prevent yourself from fainting and having to restart a difficult part in the game.

Honeycombs

There are 4 different types of Honey Combs in Banjo Tooie.

Regular Honeycomb

These are the most common types of Honeycombs. They will replenish your Honeycomb meter up only by one. They are usually found after defeating a few enemies.

Skill Honeycomb

Skill Honeycombs are less common than Regular Honeycombs. The Honey comb meter will flash 1 by 1 past the amount you want to heal/hurt yourself. If you are quick enough to press the B Button on time to stop the meter at the full gauge, then you will receive a maximum supply of Honeycombs to heal you fully.

Mystery Honeycomb

This type of Honeycomb is very similar to the Skill Honey Comb. Instead of the gauge flashing in order, it will flash at different times. This one is trickier and it is easier to land on the flash which actually lowers you Honeycomb gauge. You must be quick if you want to receive a benefit from this Honeycomb. Tap the B Button lightly to stop the gauge from flashing to determine whether your Honeycomb gauge will go up or down.

Empty Honeycombs

Empty Honeycombs are the rarest out of all of the Honeycombs. If you collect enough Honeycombs, then Honey B will give you another Honeycomb to add to your gauge so that you can have a higher health supply.

Honey B

Honey B is a kind bee who lives in a large beehive. She will exchange all Empty Honeycombs for an extra Honeycomb to be added to your gauge to increase your health. Her demands for Empty Honeycombs will rise as you give her them, and as your health increases, the more Empty Honeycombs you will have to pay to get one of her special ones. Honey B can be found in the district of Isle O' Hags.
