Eggs are a common weapon which Kazooie can shoot out of her mouth and fire out of her rear.

Appearances

Eggs can be found in every game in the Banjo-Kazooie series. All eggs listed below are able to be learned in Banjo-Tooie but only blue eggs can be learned in Banjo-Kazooie.

Blue Eggs

"Blue" eggs or "blue stones" as Ju-Ju calls them are Kazooie's main weapon. She learns the technique of shooting blue eggs from Bottles in Mumbo's Mountain. These eggs can be used to hit and kill enemies or feed things to get to another area. These eggs are the only eggs in Banjo-Kazooie. You can carry a maximum of one-hundred blue eggs without any cheats.

Fire Eggs

Fire eggs are the first of 4 different kind of eggs learned in Banjo-Tooie. They can be used to warm things up, hurt or kill enemies faster and to light dark areas. Fire eggs tend to cause more damage than regular eggs, yet some characters in Banjo Tooie and games onward cannot be damaged by this type of egg. You can carry a maximum of fifty fire eggs without any cheats.

Grenade Eggs

Grenade eggs are very useful weapons, and the most powerful of all of the eggs which can be used against bosses and enemies. They can also be used to blow things up which allow you to go to more areas in the game. You can carry a maximum of twenty-five grenade eggs without any cheats. Grenade Eggs are also the most effective with Bosses such as Old King Coal.

Ice Eggs

Ice eggs are a very unique egg type which can be used to freeze an enemy and then sneak up on them and kill them. They can also be fired through flaming torches to put them out. Some characters in Banjo Tooie cannot be harmed by Ice eggs, such as Chilli Billi. You can carry a maximum of fifty ice eggs without any cheats.

Clockwork Kazooie Eggs

Clockwork Kazooie Eggs are very different from other eggs, but unique eggs which when fired hatch a little robotic Kazooie which you can operate before the timer goes out. When the timer is out, it blows up. Also, pressing B will blow the robotic Kazooie up before the timer goes. Clockwork Kazooie eggs can be used to go through small holes and blow things up or collect things in small holes. Clockwork Kazooie eggs are also a major part of the final battle with Grunty and her Hag1. You can carry a maximum of ten clockwork Kazooie eggs without any cheats.

Mine Eggs

Mine eggs are only available in multiplayer of Banjo Tooie. They work like proximity mines,and can be used to set explosive traps.

Golden Eggs

Golden eggs can only be found in Multiplayer for Banjo Tooie. These special eggs grant you an unlimited supply of powerful golden eggs for one minute.

Cheats

In Banjo-Kazooie, if you find Cheato in one of his three secret spots, then he'll give you three cheat codes to enter in the sandcastle in Treasure Trove Cove. One of his cheats is "BLUEEGGS", which doubles the amount of eggs that you can carry, from one-hundred to two-hundred.

In Banjo-Tooie, you will find Cheato asking for some of his cheat pages because Grunty ripped them out. If you find five, then he can give you a cheat to enter in the pyramid in Mayhem Temple. One of his cheats is "EGGS" which doubles the amount of eggs you can carry from blue eggs to Clockwork Kazooie eggs.
